Motze’ie Shabbat: Havdalah and the end of Shabbat

When does Shabbat officially end? Some traditionally say that Shabbat ends when you can see three stars in the sky, some say 50 minutes after sundown, and some say 72 minutes. In Israel it is fascintaing to see how the city of Jersusalem comes alive Saturday night. In the darkening hours of the evening shops and restruants open and the streets become busy again. One ends the Sabbath with a special ceremeny called Havdalah to seperate the old week from the new. Shavua Tov! (Have a good week)
